Description

Join like minded individuals for this Earth Day event (hosting 1 week early due to Easter Weekend) where guests will arrive at 1:00PM, explore the meadow then have a guided tour through the woods. We’ll share habitat needs and healthy garden practices of native bees while exploring our 5 acre walnut grove. Our focus this year is on native bees, most of which are solitary bees and rockstar Guests choose appropriate logs to make a bee hotel then head to the chalet where all the tools will be to build the hotel. Inside the chalet, guests will find an array of bee bowls and acrylic paints which will be decorated by the guests to take home. Native seeds will be available to take away to start their own pollinator gardens or pots on the patio. Fee is $50.00 per couple/family or individual (1 bee hotel and bowl per fee)
